Bold yet elegant, fully-concentrated aroma of citrus fruit with layers of peach, lemon pith and cracked pepper, textured showing lifted aromatics and freshness. med-bodied, with a firm and concentrated core of citrus with crunchy cashew nut.

Vineyard
Single vineyard wine, 100% clone 635. Planted in 2014, in the Havelock North sub Region. Pruned to 2 cane VSP. All the grapes used for this wine are grown on a sustainable viticulture approved site.
Vinification
The grapes were gently hand harvested and WBP, reductively through our vacuum press, allowing no oxygen to come into contact with the juice. The juice was cold settled and racked to season French Oak barriques for ferment. Fermentation was conducted warm to give the wild yeast free reign on fruit flavours and texture ferment lasted approximately 3 weeks. Just prior to completing fermentation, the wine was racked off primary solids, and taken down to minus two to retain a small amount of natural residual sugar. The wine was then cold stabilised, sterile filtered through our cross flow filter.
Maturation
100% barrel fermented, in seasoned French 225 Litre barriques. 0% New Oak.
