The Ned Skyscraper Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Bold aromas of riper passionfruit and tropical citrus, provide a heady bouquet that jump from the glass expressing the vibrant flavours of pure Waihopai Valley Sauvignon Blanc. The rich palate is full and juicy, countered by crunchy acidity that offers a deliciously long and moreish finish. Try alongside a creamy cheddar and spring onion risotto with balsamic roasted tomatoes or baked Tuscan chicken served a top of mashed cauliflower or with a mediterranean chickpea salad.

Leefield Station, Waihopai Valley, Marlborough

A near perfect growing season allowed our Sauvignon Blanc grapes to reach the optimal balance of ripeness and acidity. The fruit was machine harvested and quickly pressed off skins to preserve the aromatic freshness of the juice. Cool fermentation with selected yeast strains helped to elevate the flavour intensity of both the nose and the palate. A portion underwent fermentation with French oak to add subtle layers of complexity.
