Anchorage Sauvignon Blanc 2022

A tropical fruit explosion greets you in the glass with aromas of passionfruit and red currants. Zesty, herbal, lime citrus and green apple combine on the palate for a fresh, mouth watering little number, perfect on it’s own or as an apparitif.

Located in the heart of the Nelson Region, Motueka Winemakers & Growers is a family owned winery, who hold firmly the belief that the rich fertile soils surrounding the Motueka township, coupled with balmy sea breezes and some of New Zealand's consistently highest sunshine readings are the ideal climate in which to craft their aromatic wines. Grapes from our vineyards in the nearby Moutere add a further dimension to our range of classic aromatic varieties.

This Sauvignon Blanc was machine harvested in the cool mornings of late March, then destemmed and gently pressed to tank for settling. The juice was then racked off solids and the bright juice cool fermented with aromatic yeast strains. The wine was then blend-ed and bottled for you to enjoy!

Our 2022 Sauvignon Blanc was harvested in the cool mornings of early April in pristine condition from our Flett Road and Umukuri Road home block vineyard’s. Gentle pressing and cool stainless steel fermentation has encouraged and preserved fantastic aromas of passionfruit, red currants and green apple, along with a snappy, mouth watering palate.
