Spy Valley E Block Sauvignon Blanc 2020

A delicate wine with aromas of white flower, citrus peel, and fresh herbs. A tightly wound core of citrus and wet stone. The fine acid and fruit structure give a long vibrant and mouth-watering finish. Intensity of fruit flavours from a warm vintage should see this wine cellar for 3-5 years from harvest date

Selected rows of our E, C Block, and Black Knight vineyards were harvested in the cool of the morning and then gently pressed. The juice was fermented at cool temperatures to retain the intensity of the Sauvignon Blanc aromatics. 10% of the blend was fermented in older French oak barrels. After 7 months on fine lees, the components were blended prior to bottling
