Kahurangi Estate

Kahurangi Estate is owned and operated by four families active in the business and mad passionate about wine and good times. The Kahurangi brand was born in 1998 and was purchased by the current owners in 2019. Combined, the Kahurangi Estate owners bring with them over 60 years of active involvement in the NZ wine industry. Our focus is on aromatic grape varieties that respond to the Nelson region’s cool climate conditions. Nelson benefits from a sunny maritime climate and as a region claims some of the highest sunshine hours in New Zealand.
