Steve Bird Marlborough Pinot Gris "The Whanau Reserve" 2023

This is a gently fragrant Pinot Gris with floral overtones, hints of spice and attractive dried fruits contributing to a persistent and seductive aroma. The palate is wonderfully soft and approachable with excellent balance and great mouth feel. The flavours are dominated by subtle tropical fruit influences, a hint of spice, and a concentrated core of juicy primary grape characters. The overall result is an immensely appealing and generous wine.
