Description
The 2019 growing season in Hawke's Bay was ideal in almost every way. Good rainfall in Spring provided the vines with plenty of water at the right time, January and February were warm and dry; ideal conditions for ripening grapes. The aim is to reflect the unique vineyard site in this single vineyard wine. Each vintage of la collina is a snapshot of the vineyard in that year and no two vintages will ever be exactly the same. The wine is powerful yet elegant with ripe, bright fruit and spice coupled with weight and length on the palate, weighty yet unobtrusive fine tannins and a balanced palate
