Stonyridge Pilgrim 2019

New Zealand’s first Rhone Ranger wine, made with the classic "GSM" (Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah) varieties of the south of France. 2019 was a great vintage for Syrah on Waiheke, and this estate-grown Northern Rhone blend is a perfect exemplar of the vintage.

Black plum and wild berries with lifted notes of purple flowers and cedar-spice. Harmonious and broad on the palate with chewy tannin and soft acidity. Great for a classy barbeque occasion.

This 2019 will continue to improve over the medium term in the cellar.
