Stonyridge Airfield 2019

Larose’s baby brother has always been an excellent wine in its own right and is the most immediately approachable of our estate wines.

Forward ripe currant and boysenberry sit alongside thyme and lavender on the nose. The palate structure is soft and supple, and beautiful drinking while young and vibrant.

2019 was a near-perfect season on Waiheke, and at Stonyridge in particular; good flowering in spring followed by a warm, dry, settled summer. All fruit came into the winery in exceptional condition at perfect physiological and polyphenolic ripeness.
