The wine was carefully fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Maturation
Left on the lees for 5 months prior to bottling. The extended lees contact — longer than the majority of Marlborough sauvignon blancs — creates complexity, weight on the palate, and aging potential, and brings out fruit flavors.
