The Site: In the Wairau Plains sub-region of Marlborough lies Rapaura, traditionally referred to as ‘the Golden Triangle’ where Heather and Milton Staple’s hand-tended Walnut Flat Vineyard is located. The warm stony site allows for extended ripening, producing beautiful full flavoured and richly concentrated fruit. The Wine: Made and Bottled at Isabel Estate Winery, we capture contemporary complexity in perfect balance. Flint aromas overlay fresh citrus and white nectarine fruit with a hint of French oak and luscious length.
