Description
A complex and elegant Chardonnay with aromas of white peach, melon, toasted coconut and creamy vanilla. Peach and pear follow through the palate with spicy oak nuances building into a complex array of brioche and biscuit undertones. A hint of citrus peel keeps the palate tight and fresh.

Vineyard
A combination of our Central Otago subregions. Northburn shows fine boned acidity, pure fresh fruit flavours and a crystalline minerality derived from Schist based soils, while Bannockburn gives rich ripe tropical notes and mid palate weight.
Vinification
Vineyard parcels were individually hand harvested and whole bunch pressed to tank for light settling. Barrel fermentation and extended lees stirring over 9 months helped to build mid palate texture and complexity, prior to blending of selected barrels in Spring.
