This aromatic white grape hailing from Spain performs exceedingly well in Gisborne, a beautiful coastal region on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island.

A warm dry summer resulted in perfect ripeness and the earliest harvest ever for our Albariño. Picked and gently pressed to stainless steel tanks, 90% of the clear juice was racked and fermented with yeast to highlight the aromatics and texture. The remaining juice was run to seasoned French Oak Puncheons to add complexity and richness.
