River Delta Pinot Noir 2020

The 2020 River Delta Pinot Noir has rich aromas of black cherry, dark fruits and wild blackberry bramble. Drinking well now and will continue to impress for the next 5 years.

This fruit was sourced from a selection of vineyards throughout Marlborough. Each vineyard's yield is managed carefully and fruit is monitored throughout the ripening season. The grapes were harvested upon reaching the desired flavour spectrum and maturity.

The grapes were harvested in the cool of the morning at optimum flavour maturity. Each vineyard parcel was held cool for five days prior to fermentation. Selected yeast strains were used for the primary alcoholic fermentation during which the must was hand plunged six to eight times daily. Once malolactic fermentation was completed the wine was carefully blended and gently prepared for bottling.
