Description
Made with a nod to Provence, this lighter style rosé has aromas of candied pear and mango with underlying secondary notes of brioche and honeycomb. The focused palate delivers stone fruit flavours while a full-bodied mouthfeel lingers on the palate carrying a juicy acidity. The Kings Desire 2020 is best enjoyed with summer fare, try it with chargrilled Mediterranean vegetables with kasundi and macadamia nuts.

Vinification
Pinot Noir was harvested by a combination of hand and machine when fruit was at its optimal ripeness. The hand harvested fruit was whole bunch pressed and racked into old oak barrels for fermentation. The machine harvested portion was pressed to stainless steel tanks to retain freshness and fruit purity. Regular lees stirring of the barrel portions helped to build opulence and mouthfeel. Our best rosé components were blended in winter before filtration and bottling.
