Ara Pathway Sauvignon Blanc 2019

A vibrant and elegant wine, with layers of citrus and tropical fruit leading to a clean and refreshing finish.

The dry Marlborough 2019 vintage created a bounty of intense flavour and quality for our vineyards. From veraison throughout the growing season the hot, dry conditions favoured our vineyards, as they have good access to water. This coupled with the warmth, created quality fruit with generous aromatics, concentrated flavour, texture and lovely natural acidity

Flavour development was early, and sugar accumulation in the berries slower than average. This gave rise to bright pungent aromas and flavours, matched by elegance and refreshing acidity. The different parcels were fermented separately with long slow cool ferments of approximately 14 days.
