Description
Ripe yellow stone fruit (peach, mango), pear apple, flowers, vanilla, croissant, butter toast.
This multi-layered, rich, dry white wine shows a round, creamy texture. The aromas are still dominated by the wood influence and the acidity is also still lively. The very good balance and the high extract allow this wine to develop further over the next 2 to 4 years, to further integrate the acidity and secondary aromas and to gain complexity to be aged for another 4 years. The finish is long and very harmonious.

Analytical data
Vineyard
Lime Hill Vineyard is a very special location in the Wairarapa Valley in New Zealand. It is situated on a hill east of Masterton, facing west at an optimal altitude with a wonderful panorama over the valley. The terroir consists of a heavy, clayey soil full of limestone
Vinification
Whole grape pressing. Fermentation and ageing in large, new oak barrels for about 12 months.
Maturation
A great wine with great potential for the future. Especially because of the low yields and this special soil, the wine appears very firm and closed in its youth. With a few years of maturation it opens up more and more.
