Bilancia

Bilancia is a small, Hawke's Bay premium winery making Chardonnay, Viognier/Marsanne/Roussanne and Syrah. Bilancia is Italian for balance, equilibrium and harmony and is the Italian name for the star sign, Libra. Our first vintage was in 1997. Our home vineyard is la collina where we grow Syrah on the terraced hillside, Chardonnay on the gentle slope and gravels and the field blend VMR (Uvaggio) on gravels. We also take fruit from premium small vineyards for single vineyard wines showcasing some of Hawke's Bay's finest sites. la collina Syrah is our flagship wine
