Alcove Wines

Created thoughtfully, and with care, Alcove Wines come from a boutique, organic-certified Syrah vineyard on Rapaura Road, a premium Marlborough sub-region. Established in 2010, owners Mike and Zana Whittaker took over the vineyard in 2021 with a passion to keep its organic status. The vineyard is close-planted, low-trelissed Syrah vines, cared for by hand by Mike and Zana. Working alongside winemakers Aaron Zuccaro and his partner Bec, who are focussed on low-intervention winemaking, wines produced from the block are vegan-friendly and expertly made.
